2-How old were you when you started skating, and what got you into it?

I was 6 yrs old!! My dad took me to see Gleaming the Cube. When we got home, he took the handle bar off the skate scooter thing I had and I rolled around the basement for the rest of the night!! The scene in the beginning where they're barging that pool really stuck with me. Then I really just got into it! The mags, videos, and my friends got into it!! It was on! I've been addicted ever since!! It's that feeling of freedom!!! The falling down and getting back up, trying for hours determined to learn something new and rolling away!! It's my life!!

3-What's your first legit memory of skateboarding?

I went to skateboard madness, after I got my first real board for christmas!! It was the first time I saw ramps in person and they seemed so big!!! I was scared shit!! I think I sat down and watched for the whole day. I was in awe ... I couldn't believe it!!! Ray Underhill was there once, I remember watching him kill the vert ramp! I felt like I was in heaven!! And the cool thing about that is I still feel the same way every time I step on a board until this day!!!

4-Obviously you've been in the mix for a long time what kept you on the board?

It's my only escape!!! No matter what's goin on in life my board is always there to help me get away!! It takes me a lot of sick places. Through skating I've made some great friends and met tons of rad people!! The thing about skating is it teaches you so much, it makes you strong!!! It's a lifestyle and a culture of it's own. Yet at the same time it's very personal.

5- Who are your biggest influences in skateboarding?Why?

Duane Peters creativity, attitude, and raw style. He definitely defines that edge that is skateboarding and punk rock for sure!! Jeff Grosso's power! Darren Navarrette's style!! I'm also a big fan of Dressen and Lance Mountain!! I think if you could take a bit from each of those guys it's on!!! As well as the squad Joe and Mike get me pumped during the sesh!!

Work, Sleep, Hang out! Pissed off wishing I was skating!!

8-What music gets you pumped for a session?

Punk Rock Baby, Ramones, Social Distortion, Rancid, U.S. Bombs, The Clash, Agnostic Front, The list goes on and on!!!!

9-Current set-up? Any rituals/superstitions that have to do with skating?

The set-up is a Vigilante Damage Stick, Indy 149's, 58 SPF"s, Khiro Reds, Madrid Flypaper!! As far as rituals I always write a little message under my grip to Dukes to watch over me, and I always write vigilante on my grip tape on the left side of the tail!!!

10-Skateboarding has obviously taken you some places where is the best place you've skated out side of the home base?

I love the Combi by far!!! You just think about all the shit that went down in that thing and it gets you juiced! As a kid watching all the videos and seeing pics of the original, getting to skate a replica/tribute to that makes it even better! Plus it's scary as shit ... definitely puts some hair on your chest!!! I love upland as well that's intense! Anywhere with some round wall will do the trick!!!

11-If you could go skate anywhere right now where would you go?

Probably the Cayman Islands with the squad, I wanna check that place out so bad!!!

12-What's in the future for Chris Reilly?

Skate hard!!!
